Introduction of self: I am Shreelekha, BE, MBA. I live in
Chennai with my family of 6 people- spouse, 2 kids, and in-laws.
How I was introduced to ALP Basic Course: For the past 2
years, due to transfer of my job to another city and since I could not relocate
my family to the new city, neither could I travel back and forth considering
that I was the primary caretaker for my young kids, I was looking out for
practical ways as to how to bring back my job to the present city, as well as
looking out for other jobs. Since the situation seemed to be very averse, I was
also looking out for expert advice about what was awaiting me in the future.
Since there were personal issues also, my husband and I were consulting with
various astrologers to find out some proper solution to our problems. We came
across various astrologers who advised some parigarams and seemed to provide
some answers to our questions. However, the answers were not very satisfactory
to me.
Meanwhile, while casually
scrolling in Youtube, one fortunate day, I saw a video published in
Behindwoods, in which Mr. Puthuvudaimoorthy sir spoke about ALP (Atchaya Lagna Paddhathi – Atchaya means
to grow; Lagna means each of the 12
zodiac signs in the horoscope starting from birth Lagnam and moving clockwise
{birth Lagnam is the zodiac sign where the Sun is at the time of birth}; Paddhathi means organising) and how
learning the basics of ALP astrology will be beneficial for the self, and the
family. Sir also emphasised on the need for at least one astrologer for every
home, in order to study the real picture of roadmap of their own future.
Once I heard this speech, I spoke
to the ALP office in-charge, who was very polite and explained in detail about
the course structure, and clarified all my doubts. Subsequently, I was very
much interested to learn the basics and hence discussed with my spouse about
the same. My husband agreed, and thanks to my family’s support, I paid the
course fee and joined the ALP basic course, that started on Feb 15, 2025.

The timing of the
course was set as 4.32 am to 6.32 am and this discipline was very admirable.
For me personally, since I am an early riser, I quickly got accustomed to the
timings. The details of the meeting used to be shared the previous day and this
continued through the course.

All the teachers of
the course were very polite, steady, articulate, experts in handling and
teaching the subject.

The structure of the
course was scientifically designed as to make us get accustomed to the timings,
as well as be completely receptive of the classes. Since every concept was
re-emphasized multiple times by each teacher in their own particular fashion, they
ensured that all the concepts were well understood by all the students.

The general Q&A
session and life lessons at the end of the session each day gave insight on
daily issues, which we tend to ignore or which might have become a part of our
character, even without our knowledge. However, these small issues actually take
up much of our mental or emotional energy, thus draining us more and is
wasteful. When such life lessons were shared, my consciousness was aroused more
and I became more watchful of my thoughts through the day. Subsequently, I also
started implementing some good improvements in my daily habits.

Through the course,
the teachers were very much conscious to use only positive words and also made
it very clear that all the participants should use only positive words. Such
words like doubt was replaced by question and worry was replaced by blessing.

The simple ways of
thanksgiving, apologizing and seeking blessings from parents, self and the
entire universe can transform the entire circumstances. This revelation was a
blessing by itself. When practiced on a daily basis, this dissolves many
troubles and brings in more blessings into one’s life.

In today’s world,
wherein more of profit-making mindsets dominate, here is a class which imparts Gurukul type of knowledge that is
most required for daily life and to decide the best possible route in all the
available routes with the help of a tool called ALP basic astrology.
I whole heartedly thank all the
teachers (Dr. Shanthi Devi Rajesh Kumar mam, Dr. Uma Venkat mam, Mr.
Shanthakumar sir, Mr. Sathyanarayanan sir, Mr. Muthu Vijayakumar sir, Mrs.
Amutha mam, Mrs. Bhavani mam) in this course, for having imparted their knowledge
and experiences and educated me in the basics of ALP course.
Feedback about the ALP software:

When the inputs of
date of birth, time of birth and place of birth are given, the software
immediately displays the relevant rasi
kattam. In addition, the software designed for navigating between past,
present and future is amazingly good.

The brains behind the
software have taken every minute detail into account to give us a fool proof
way and user-friendly software. At this moment, I appreciate the good work of
all the brains behind this innovation and salute the hard work of the people who
have made this software a great success.

Almost every day,
after the scheduled time of 4.32 am to 6.32 am, Sir joined into the zoom
meeting and interacted with all the participants just like a well-wisher, a
friend and a guide towards brighter future. The questions he asked or the
experiences he shared or the practical examples that he gave would be very much
relevant and useful for daily life. It was wonderful to interact with a
knowledgeable person, who has simplified an ocean of astrology and handed over
the basic real requirements for laymen to understand in an easy manner.
Moreover, the invention that Sir has made seems to have impactful results when
analyzing horoscopes more accurately.
I am very much grateful to Sir
for having initiated this kind of course for educating laymen about the basics
of astrology. The true concern of Sir to save masses from many
so-called-astrologers who, in the name of parigaram/josiyam (astrology) dupe
people of their hard-earned money was much understandable. When the masses are
educated of the basics of astrology, as well as when they have a tool called
ALP software ready in their smartphones, the probability of getting duped by
such fake astrologers comes down drastically.
About my coach:

Every student of the
ALP basic course is allotted a coach who can be contacted even after the class
hours for any clarification of questions.
I was fortunate to have Mr. Venkateshan sir as my coach who was very
knowledgeable, appreciated my work every time I completed my homework
correctly, guided me when I made some mistakes during viva voce through phone
calls, and was always quick to respond to my calls and clarify my questions,
despite his busy schedule at the ALP astrology office in Perungalathur.
I am very much grateful to Mr.
Venkateshan sir for his coaching, guidance and patience.
How I benefited from the course:
- In the initial days of the course, I started
replacing negative self-talk with more positive affirmative ones. Such
thoughts/words like worry were
replaced with thoughts /words like blessing. I started developing more
faith since doubt was replace
with question / clarification.
- Once I started knowing how to study the 5 basic
rules of astrology with respect to my horoscope, there was limelight about
my future events as well as the time frame of the same.
- The practical examples shared in the course was
immensely beneficial to me since I could relate to them on a daily basis.
- The experiences shared by the classmates were
life-educating.
- The simple act of gratitude, apologizing and seeking blessings from
parents and the entire universe is slowly becoming a regular thought in my
mind.
At this moment, I thank my
classmates for having shared their experiences and thus contributing to the
enrichment of the course.
Thus, I
thank the entire ALP team for having educated me in the basics of ALP
astrology. I wish the entire team more successes. I feel proud for having been
a part of this journey.
